O Curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie tem na relação teoria-prática seu eixo aglutinador, relação que é desenvolvida ao longo de toda formação, e não apenas no cumprimento dos estágios curriculares obrigatórios. Alia tradição e solidez teórica com a prática educacional-pedagógica para que o futuro profissional, com competência e criatividade, desenvolva processos educativos, de acordo com a realidade onde atuará; compreenda as especificidades dos processos de desenvolvimento e aprendizagem de crianças, jovens e adultos; aprenda a formular, implementar e avaliar projetos pedagógicos; seja capaz de analisar políticas educacionais e seus processos de implementação; entre outros. A matriz curricular do Curso de Pedagogia organiza-se em disciplinas e atividades, permitindo a obtenção da Licenciatura em oito semestres.

 

The Pedagogy Course at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University has in theory-practice relationship its agglutinating axis, relationship that is developed throughout training, and not only in compliance with the curricular mandatory internships. Combines tradition and theoretical soundness with educational-pedagogical practice for the future teacher, with competence and creativity, develops educational processes, according to the reality where he will act; understand the specificities of development and learning processes of children, youth and adults; learn how to formulate, implement and evaluate educational projects; be able to examine educational policies and their implementation processes; among others. The curricular array of the Degree in Pedagogy is organized in curricular components (disciplines) and activities, enabling to obtain the degree in eight semesters.

 

The Job Market

Educators can act in the areas of teaching in early childhood education (children from zero to five years) and in elementary school (children from 1st to 5th grade), in regular and teenagers and adults education; in the management of the pedagogical work in school and non-school spaces, formulating, implementing and evaluating programs and projects in different educational community spaces. It is possible to work even in vocational training courses in the area of school services and school support, among others.
